Currently, we are fishing the Chetco Bay Estuary for a beautiful grade of Chinook (King ) Salmon. It has been a “tide bite” but the fishing remains great some big bright fish are being caught.
Rockfish and Ling Cod are also a great option when the ocean permits. We are seeing some big limits and nice Lings both are close to the port in shallow waters.
As soon as the storms and rains come the river will host these great kings. We will be drift fishing for these great fish on various trips on the Chetco River.
Steelhead to follow around the first of the year.
